| Due to the popularity of this Work in Progress section I decided I should update it with a more recent painting. Starting December 11th I will be updating this section daily to show you the landscape painting I'm currently working on. You will be able to come back each day and see how the painting has progressed. The landscape painting is a 14.75" X 46" panorama. It will be an early morning landscape setting with an old stone foundation as the focal point. There will also be a whitetail buck wandering through the scene. I'm using acrylic paints on gessoed hardboard (masonite). |

| Day One, December 11, 2004: Switched to an airbrush to help fill in all the white gesso areas of the painting. This creates a nice base to start the detail work. Click on landscape painting to enlarge. |

| Day Eight, Jan. 10, 2005. Click on landscape painting to enlarge. The changes in the next few days will be subtle. I'm adding the final details that might not show up well online. Most of the day was spent working on the top right side of the painting. You will notice that area appears softer than the day seven picture. |

| Day Nine, Jan. 12, 2005. Click on landscape painting to enlarge. Today I worked on the grass and weeds in the foreground and started to add the final colours to the stone foundation. |

| Day Ten, Jan.12,2005. Click to enlarge landscape painting. Today I worked on the sky, tree branches and stone foundation. I have four more days of work left but I am not going to add the last few days to the site. The detail isn't noticeable online. I'll add the finished painting when it's complete. |

| This is the final painting. It's titled "Mystic Past" and took a total of 14 days /102 hours to complete. |
